Gachon SIT 2015: Day 5 - 7, Wednesday to Friday, 02/09 ~ 04/09

From Wednesday to Friday, we were busy settling stuff such as modules and alien card. As we are only allowed to apply for course that are taught in English, we attended all modules to make sure before confirming it with our teachers.

Day 5, Wednesday

At 10am, we went to the Global Center to attend our first korean lesson. However, after about 30 minutes, our teacher released us, saying that it was just a introduction class. As we had Investment Theory at 11am, we went to grab breakfast at 7-11 before going to class. Class ended at 1215pm and we meet our buddies at 1230pm to go to the bank to withdraw money for the dormitary fee.

We took a train to Yatap to withdraw money from Citibank and also exchange some money. After that was settled, our buddies had to return back to school for their lessons, so we split ways and had lunch on our own.

We then walked around the place a little more and then went back to the dorm.

Day 6, Thursday

Attended Internet Business and E-Commerce at 930am and it ended about 1 hour later as it was only an introduction lesson. As we had time that day, we went to attend our korean lesson. We were required to purchase korean language books that cost 62,500 won. As it was our first korean lesson, we all sounded funny and had difficulty pronouncing some words. Near the ending of the lesson, our teacher split us into groups to test how much we have learn.

We met our buddies after our class and then went up to the International Office to hand them our documents and also create our school account so that we can have access to their e-class which is similar to blackboard.

Paid for our dormitary fee at Shinhan bank which is in their school. We then went to HomePlus at Yatap to shop for food and we also bought a volleyball!

Went back to school and there was a mini concert going on.

Day 7, Friday

Woke up super early today as we are going to apply for our alien registration card! As registration starts at 9am, we had to arrive earlier as there will be lots of people according to our buddies. Left school at 7am as we need 1 and a half hour to reach the place. Waited for about 2 hours before all of us are done registrating, have to wait for about 2 weeks for the card to be send to us.

The buddy that brought us there was Gerald's buddy, and as he had project meeting he went off first. At the subway station, we saw that SBS is around the area therefore we went to search for it.

We then had some food at Paris Baguette before heading back to school for Organizational Behavior lesson at 2pm. After lesson ended we went to meet our buddies to make our student card. The picture for our card is taken on the spot, so everybody is complaining about how ugly the picture is!

Before heading back to the dorm, we discuss with our buddies about places we can visit for sight-seeing. After getting their help we head back to our dorm to relax and also play computer games.

At about 8pm, we headed down for dinner, chicken and pizza delivery, together with Carrine and Ron. After which, we went to exercise by playing basketball and volleyball. We played until 11pm before heading back to bath and sleep.
